Muscles of the Human Body
The human body is an amazing piece of engineering, nothing man has designed and built has ever come close to matching its complexity on a molecular level, its ability to adapt to a diverse variety of environments, conditions and situations, and its propensity to regenerate itself. It truly deserves to be celebrated and acknowledged as the successor in all existence.
As a tribute to this excellence, in this section we are going to examine - as a start - just one of the qualities of the Human Body that allows it to move and travel, that is of the Muscle System.
The Human Body contains around 650 muscles, these range from major muscles for major movements like the muscles of the legs and back, right down to the smallest, including the ones that make our hair stand on end when we are frightened, excited or cold.
Below I am going to show you where the major muscles are on the body and the names of those particular muscles.
